Hi Scott:

I followed the directions that came with the fuel lone from Replacement Parts.
It said to cut the line at a good angle (Making it quite pointed) and then to push it through the hole in the tank (which is a tight fit and seals its self.) I then pulled it on through until it reached outside of the tank with a pair of long nose pliers. The directions then said to cut it off square and install the fuel filter. I then tucked it back into the tank. On mine the fuel line then goes to the Priming/Choke bulb and then over to one of the ports on the Carb.

The other line which is actually a tank vent line installs the same way by cutting it off at a slant and pulling it through. It is a larger line on mine and again seals the hole.
