Porter cable charger---won't

Need to find out how and or where I can get a charger fixed. Batteries show that they are defective. I just had new sub-c put in battery case. now the charger will not charge. eReplacement tells me that he charger is obsolete and is not being manufactured any more. Where do I go from here????

The guts to the charger are a circuit board with resistors and transistors and the like attached to it. It you feel like it unscrew the case and see if problem is nothing more than a loose wire, or find your burnt resistor to replace. Parts for charges are not sold seperately online. The service centers don't even fool with trying to repair the electronic parts. If it's not internal and if it is a discontinued charger, as a last resort, search eBay. I'm pretty sure you can find one there. I hope this helps.
