Porter & Cable vacuum 7812
Firstly thank you to eReplacementParts for the use of their forum for my question. I recently purchased a second hand Porter & Cable gib stopper and wet/dry vacuum, model number of vacum 7812. HELP! I am unable to wire it back together. I did take photos of the wiring while it was dirty, removed the wires, cleaned it, but it seems that now it is dust free, magically more spade connectors have appeared and I’m unsure of 4 wires. If you are able to photo your circuit board (if you have a 7812) and email it to me that would be great. Or if you know some site on the internet, that would be good to. Payment for this help would be a number of beers at my local. My local is a 5 minute walk from our house here in Cashmere, Christchurch, New Zealand. Now I need to persuade eReplacementParts to sell to me here in Christchurch. Paul Cooper Last edited by Paul Cooper; 11-30-2008 at 12:38 AM. |

Unfortunately we don't have a 7812 here on hand, but I did find a wiring diagram for that vacuum. I've added it to the breakdown of the 7812, and you can find it by going to the 'Page 2' tab on this page:
Porter Cable 7812 Vacuum Parts I wasn't able to find any information on a 220V version of that vacuum, but keep in mind that this diagram is for a 120V model of the 7812. If a 220V is available, the wiring diagram may not match your vacuum. Hopefully this helps! |
