    Default Accessory Ordering Made Easy

Hello everyone, I'm Dave. I am one of the developers here at eReplacementparts.com. I wanted to let everyone know about a few updates to our website that we hope will make your life a little better when it comes to power tool accessories.

We have implemented a new accessory ordering system that should make it easier to find what you need. Right now our site is organized by each manufacturer's tool model number. So, if you need parts for a DeWALT DW421 sander you go to the search, type in the model number, and go to the DW421 page. There is a picture of the tool, a parts breakdown, and a list of the parts. See below:

What we have done is add a list of accessories that fit your tool below the parts list. For instance on the DW421 sander page, it shows the top six packages of sandpaper that fit the DW421. You can choose the grit, disc quantity, etc. Now, you don't have to worry about the specifications for each accessory that you are looking for. All you need to know is the model number for the tool.

Another example would be for the Makita 5007NB saw. If you go to the 5007NB parts page, again you will see a list of compatible saw blades below the list of parts. As always, we show what we have in stock, so you will know if it will ship out immediately, or if it is a special order item that we will have to bring in from the manufacturer.

We have worked very hard to get this system in place, so we hope that you enjoy it! The system is completely functional now, but that does not mean that it is active for every tool. Over the next couple of months we will be matching accessories to tools, so check back often. You will start to see the updates all across our site.

Great idea for the accessory listing. I just used it for my Makita 3601B to get both collet inserts.

On this particular model, I have a problem with the baseplate. The center hole is threaded for an insert but is non-standard - approximately 1.54" in diameter. (I probably should have purchased the dovetail inserts years ago when I bought the router.)

    Are these inserts available anywhere?

    Thanks,
    Mike

New to the website, trying to order Accessory for the Shopmaster TS 200 LS , part no. 36-541, Extension Wing. Cannot find it listed in parts list so that I can add it to Cart. Any ideas?

I checked on that 36-541 wing and unfortunately Delta has discontinued it. There might be one available secondhand but it's a pretty tough search.

    Hi all
The parts list exploded diagrams are awesome.
I don't grind much anymore, but when I do its for concrete moisture testing.
My old trusty Milwaukee 7" quit on me after grinding off my 1st 20" x 20" site.
She would try and hesitate start on me a few times and then not respond.
Tapping the handle assembily with a hammer resulted in her firing up to full speed until I shut her off.
Then I had to coax it back into working again with the same method.
This grinder has worked flawlessly for me for years until I mounted a diamond wheel and concrete dust shroud on it with a 1 inch extension to accomodate the dust shroud.

    $10.00 switch or what?

    Thanks from the newbie Wesley..

    Default switch or what..?

    Hey newbie wesley,
Sorry for the late reply..[if you still need info on your grinder..]
concrete dust is very hard on any tool..it sounds like you may need to change the brush's..they may be worn down enough not to make contact anymore and tapping the handle is allowing them to make more contact..so check those first..if Ok..then it may be your switch..
its just time to do a little maintenance on old trusty..
    hope this helps..!

The reason why the insert is non-standard is because because the original collets for this router requires a special collet nut that has a lip on it to hold it to the base. I'm not sure but I believe you can get a baseplate for a RF1100 that will fit on a 3601b router that has a standard size hole. Hope this helps.
