Makita LS1013 Miter Saw

Hi Guys, I would like to retrofit my saw with a laser. Does anybody know if there is a way to convert the LS1013 to the newer model LS1013LF?

Hey baldwinlc,
It really isn't economical..LS1013FL has the light and laser..the LS1013L is just the laser..their are too many components that you would have to change over and they are fairly pricey...but the main problem is the blade case assembly that holds the laser..the LS1013 doesn't look like it can be converted over..[to the best of my knowledge.]
