    Hi joe peebles,

    It could be a bad transmission or clutch. If you hold the chuck and hear a grinding noise I would say transmission. If when you hold the chuck you hear clicking, like what you would normally hear from the clutch, then I would say that the clutch is the bad part.

    The transmission is part #613237-00.

    The Clutch would likely need replacement of parts #394545-00 and #394542-00.
