    Default B&D Charger

    Is anyone having problems with the B&D charger # 418337-18 ? I ordered one from Replacement Parts and it was defective so they replaced it and this one also puts out 0.00 ac volts. Just wondering? I will call them tomorrow to inform them of the problem.

    Hi Auggie,

    Your tool may have a bad battery. The 418337-18 charger is a very simple charger. It does not have any circuitry to protect it from a bad battery. Sometimes a battery will short out and then when the bad battery is connected to the charger it will ruin the charger. You will want to check your batteries before replacing the charger again.
