    Default ELU 3338 plunge router

I have a ELU 1/2" plunge router and find it extreemle difficult to remove the bits after each use. Is ther an easy way to remove these bits rather then a hammer and screw driver ???

    Wink

I have had problems with this same situation. Try first cleaning the chuck and shaft of the bits, as rust or accumulated gunk can cause the shaft to stick. When you put the bit in, leave it at least an eighth of an inch from bottoming out, this helps too. If you are still having problems, replace your chuck, as you might just have a worn out piece that doesn't spring back open when you release pressure. Happy routing!
