    Default saw

    Hey,
The DW939 is a totally redesigned saw with a lot better quality. all the internal parts are different from the dc390...but along comes with that is it costs more to repair..!
    Hope this has been helpful..

    Question dewalt circukar saws

I called makita and they said buy the dc 390, because that the dw 939 was discontinued. But you got me going now because the dw 939 sounds like a better tool. At ewarehousedirect .com they have both tools reconditioned, the dc390 for 39.99 and the dw939 for 89.95. I thought the dw939 cost more because it was older and availability was less, but maybe it cost more because be cause its better. What do you think?

    Thanks dave...

e-Bay sells lots of DeWalt tools seperately, no batteries or chargers. Hole lot cheeper and new or referbished.
    Good Luck,

Default Saw seems like it lost its power

My saw has trouble even cutting through piece of plywood. tried a new blade, new battery, and yes it was charged. Could it be the brushes, and if so how would i know they were worn out. I pulled them out and looked at them but they dont look all that worn.
