Smile why do men love power tools, but not kitchen power tools?

If we could super charge a blender to save time on mixing concrete, or set up a La Machine to create rosettes and biscuits, maybe we would love them too. I for one would love it if I could find a good woodworking use for more household tools. My iron does double duty repairing scratches in wood, and my oven does double duty loosening old glue, but does anyone else have a good use for say, a hair dryer, or a Swiffer? Please post your best alternative use!

I can't think of anything I've used a kitchen tool for, but I used to use clothes dryers to keep the houses we were working on warm during the winter. Just turn on a cheap one without hooking up the venting on the back. It worked great without filling up the room with fumes from a propane heater.

I also used to keep a hair dryer on hand for drying off my socks and gloves when I'd spend a snowy day outside, but that's as far as I took that one

As far as supercharging a blender, I hope we all learned our lessons on that from watching Home Improvement .

That electric carvin knife works pretty good for cutting up foam for seats n whatnot. I also find that hair clippers work nice for repairing fuzzy spots on loop carpets and speaker cabinets. And don't forget, you can always use that double-boiler pot for melting glues.
