what is the clearence between the magneto and flywheel?

can the magneto be tested?

clearance .010 the mag can be tested with a ohm meter,What its specs are I dont know but take the ohm lead and insert it in the sparkplug wire,Then the other wire off the ohm meter makes contact with one or two other wires that are normally grounded.Thay have to be unbolted and tested one at a time.If there is 0 continuity its bad mag.There is a ideal ohm reading,you will have to search that out according on the mag and its model#
