Need Microswitch For GH700 Trimmer

I am very frustrated trying to find a tiny Honeywell microswitch for a perfectly good one-year old B&D Grass Hog electric trimmer/edger. The Honeywell part number is V5A030CB3X259. It is 1 X 1/2 X 3/8 with two slip connectors and two pin holes for mounting in the handle. Fotunately, when the switch burned, the wires were not damaged, nor did I recieve more than a minor shock.

I have been to the recommended local repair center, (DeWalt, N. Beach St., Ft. Worth) and they have nothing in stock to match. And B&D will not supply "internal" parts.

Any help or advice?

I have the same problem. Did you find a switch on that site? I see a FA336 that looks like it might be the one. I think I will give it try. I have had my "hog" for 2 seasons and still works fine other wise. I give it a workout!

Go to Grainger. Stock #2KRU7. Direct interchange. Original swich rated at 16 amps and this switch is rated at 20 amps. May need to drill out mounting holes slightly.
