portercable hd industrial jig saw model 7348

Hello friends , I need help finding parts for my grandfathers portercable jig saw , model number 7348, I found parts for model # 7349 but nothing for #7348, are the parts interchangeable ? Does anyone know where i can get parts ? thank you ....grego

Hey Grego,
You can try contacting a Dewalt Service Center..[porter-cable is owned by them] but I'm afraid they will tell you parts are not available..brush's, bearings and switch can possibly be matched up and armature and field can be rewound..but depends on how much you want to spend..! The parts for the 7349 are not interchangeable as they redesigned everything about it..
