9227 help

I have a 9227cy 7 inch polisher that I want to change pad from 7 inch to 5 inch to polish concrete with. Can someone recommend a 5 inch pad? How do you get the 7 inch pad off? I will be using wet diamond discs.

Hi Jim,

There is a milled spot on the spindle, just above the pad, that will accept a wrench. Lock the spindle with a wrench and then you can remove the pad with a counterclockwise rotation.
