Ryobi carburator

I have a model RY 30040A weed trimmer. It seems to have a bad carb. I can get it start and run at a slow speed. The minute I give it gas it dies. I have worked on larger model airplane engines and know it needs an adjustment. The problem is that there is no adjustment screws that I can see. I have searched every part of that carb and I wonder if anyone has run into this before. Do I have to buy a whole new carb that is preset?

i have the same trimmer and the same problem. i was told that it might be a clogged jet, however, i have not taken the carb apart yet since they only sell whole carbs. good luck.
