    Default dewalt dc927

    Hi all,
    I am trying to find out if the clamshell from a dewalt dc927 is the same as a dc927L. any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

    It is. The DC927L is the same tool as the DC927. The clamshells on these are interchangeable.

    DeWALT usually has several different model numbers for a single tool - the DC927 is also known as the DC927K, DC927KA, DC927K-2 and DC927KL. The only difference is the kit the drill comes in. For instance, the DC927K-2 includes two batteries while the DC927K only has one. The drills themselves are identical in every way in spite of having different model numbers.
