Default MURRAY Mower pars info needed.. (BRIGS/STRATON ENGINE)

Hello! Glad this resource is here.

    I have a MURRAY, Model 225111X99B MFG date 3-10-2005.

    MODEL 10M902

    TYPE 0212 (E1)

    CODE 04083055

    ---

I cant tell what carb I need to replace mine based on the search results I got, and the date code. I cant decipher the date code to decide which of the following two carbs I need:

    PART # 697415 $20.25

    -OR-

    PART #795475 $19.20

Can someone find out for me and let me know so I don't have to order both and see which one fits

Thanks, this is a great website for parts!

    Hi JTX,

The Briggs Date Code reads as follows:

    Digits #1,2 = Year
    Digits # 3,4 = Month
    Digits #5,6 = Day
Any remaining digits = Assembly line and manufacturing plant

So your engine was built August 3rd, 2004.

The cutoff for the part change was November 19th, 2003.

You will need carburetor part #790206 which changes to part #795475 and is available here.

    Good luck with your repair!

That will be a great time! There are more than a few great places to ride a bike around here! Me and a few friends are head south this weekend (not on bikes) to Zion, Bryce Canyon and Cedar Breaks. Very beautiful scenery around here!

We were thinking about Late may, but I was told it is still snowing there in the mountains. I think we are looking at a June trip now!
