    Hi, I have a Skil Mdl 497, ownerhandbook printed '82 so it's old. In looking at parts schematics on your site it looks like lots of parts may [hee,hee] exchange ...

    Well, the official answer is that no parts are available for those older Skil tools, not from Skil/Bosch anyway. If you only need something simple like brushes or a switch, you can often find something compatible in the aftermarket. Which parts are you looking for?

    Smile Skil Jigsaw bits ...

    Hi, I mainly need the "plunger" & blade support right now. I haven't taken it apart yet but could do that & get dimensions &/or a pic of the part. I have been a mechanic for 3oyrs & have adapted many parts if I can get something close. Thanks for any help. rick
