I am trying to salvage an MTD 25t log splitter. It was given to me as a basket case. The engine was burned up and some parts were missing. I have a used Honda 6hp engine that will work. It has a 2 5/8" bolt pattern. The hydraulic pump coupling was missing as were the bolts. The serial number plate is missing but I was given the Operator's Manual for a Yard Machines Log Splitter, Model 554. At this point I need a coupling that will work to mount my JS Barnes Hydraulic Pump #11296, to the replacement engine. Can anyone help me find the right coupling ?
