Default Replacing roll pin in Delta 34-440

Can anyone confirm/deny that replacement part 905010102711 (roll pin) for the Delta 34-441 (Type 1) is compatible with part #905-01-010-2711 for the 34-440? The 34-440 does not appear in the compatibility chart.

I guess the larger question is, does repair of a broken roll pin require replacement of the blade elevation shaft (34-440 part # 1087882) or can one simply replace the pin?

    Thanks,

    Steve

    Hi Steve,

The roll pin part number in question is the same item. Delta uses dashes in their part numbers and most retailers omit the dashes in their data base.

Yes you can just purchase the roll pin for the shaft. Just press or punch the old one out and press the new one in.

    Hope this helps,
    WJA
