Default Dewalt dc988, loss of torque

I've got a nicely used DC988 Type 1 hammerdrill. Over time, the drill has lost it's torque. Even if I keep it on Max Torque, it still clicks with only some resistance. Any thoughts on parts to replace? Thanks.

    Hi jeep,

We have an article and video on our site that I think will help you with replacing the transmission on your drill. You can find it at the following link...

    Replacing DeWalt Cordless Drill Transmissions.

Let us know how the repair goes!
