just before it died it appaeared intermittent for a few pulls of the trigger. I checked the brushes. Any idea's ?

    Default switch

    Hey gazzang,
Most likely it is the switch..[if your brush's look ok and are making contact..] intermittent working of the trigger is usually a sign of a bad switch..
    hope this helps..

Could also be the controller part #631218-8

I have the same problem. Anyone know how to diagnose if it is the switch or controller using an ohm/volt meter? I guess I could start with the $15 switch before the $62 controller but it would be nice to know which it is. Let me know if anyone has a way to diagnose.

    thanks, Rick
