    Unhappy Bosch 11316EVS

I have a Bosch 11316EVS that is smoking a bit. I have replaced the brushes and cleaned the carbon build up off of the armature. Any thoughts on what it might be?

    Thanks for the help Brian

    Default smoking

    Hey Brian,
Smoking is bad for any tool..it usually starts when they are teenagers and they are subject to tool peer pressure...
You may have a bad field and or armature..look for dis-coloration on the windings and armature..the tool would also run slower if a component is bad..again..smoke is always a bad sign with a power tool..so you may have to look into it deeper to isolate the problem..
    parts available at ereplacementparts.com..
    hope this helps..

Thanks for the reply. I was afraid of there being something major. The armature is clean so I'm gonna have to dig deeper I'll let you know what I find.

    Thanks again
    Brian
