roof nailer repair

I am working on a porter-cable roofing nailer mode.rn175 the problem is it is leaking air at the exhaust and will not do anything. Is this problem in the trigger valves or what? Any help you can give will be appreciated thanks spirit1

Hey spirit1,
It could be a several different things..worn o-rings...not enough lube..too much lube..stuck or broken driver..
it might be time for an overhaul kit..part # 60075...avail at ereplacementparts.com...
it has all the o-rings and trigger assy..
but open up the tool and troubleshoot before you order just to make sure..sometimes you can disassemble..re-lube and oil and then reassemble and your ok..but an overhaul kit is really the best way to go
