    Default bosch 11227e support ring

Trying to find if any one has experience in placing part #154 support ring, and which direction it goes? the diagram is not clear.

    Hey mtrtbldr,
I haven't had any experience with this one part and could not locate it in an exploded view..but most of the time parts are engineered to fit only one way..however, if you are dealing with flat surfaces such as washers or spacers it may not matter which way they go..look for surface wear to match parts..and remember, if it wont go back together it probably isn't in right or if it does fit back together but doesn't work correctly its not in right..ugh
    Hope this is helpful..?

Hey cmoorejack, Part # 154 is easy to find in the exploded view. It fits between part #51, and part #99 and fits in the impact housing. It definitaly has a shape, so I assume that it fits only one way, but seems to fit either way just fine. (I am not wanting to hear a crunch when I turn it on), If you have any wisdom on this, please let me know.

    He mtrtbldr,
oops there it is..[time for reading glasses dang it] from what I can tell from the LARGER breakdown at Bosch Tools..the side that has more raised surface would face #51..[if both sides of # 154 is identical then of course it can go in any way]
    hope this helps..?
