    Question Bosch 11236VS chuck replacement

I bought a new Bosch 11236VS hammer drill on a clearance rack at Home Depot. It does not have a chuck but the price was $60. so I figure I can afford a new chuck at that price. My question is since I don't have an old chuck to take off, is there any trick I need to know to install the chuck? Is this a snap ring and ball? And no I don't feel guilty about the price I paid.

You probably should! That's a really great deal - Nice work!

Installing the chuck is actually pretty easy on this one. Just slide it on, press it in, and turn it counter-clockwise to lock it into place. No tools or grease needed.

We've got some of those chucks in stock right now. You can find them here:

    1618598175 Quick-Change Bit Chuck - $67.93

Those are excellent hammers. Congratulations on your find - you should be able to get a lot done with that thing
