Bosch 1194VSR 1/2in. Hammer Drill Problem

I have two of these and they both are running intermittently. If you shake it, it will run for a little while. I have replaced the carbon brushes, upper/lower, and still have the problem. I recrimped all the wires and ends. Same problems. Any idea's?? Any help/advice would be very appreciated!!

Hey J,
Check the connections that are going to the field down inside the housing end..you can try removing them with a pair of needle nose pliers [be sure and just pull on the tab and not the wire itself] if they don't reinsert firmly that may be the problem..you may also have to open up the tool and remove the field to check for loose connections...
