I have a dewalt DG6000e that is not putting out any current. Where do I start to check. How do you check the rectifier? Changed stators and armatuers, doesn't mean they were good. According to dewalt , they hardley ever go bad.

Hey,
You can check the rectifier with an ohm reading..it will read one way and not the other..another possible fix is to field flash the exciter of the generator..[the magnetism drains down over time if the gen is not used often]..there are a number of different ways to flash the field and a google search should produce you some more info..
hope this helps..
