Default Remove bearing on DW 708 TYPE 4

I'm rebuilding my DW 708 Type 4 cross cut miter saw. The bearing on the drive end was completely shot, I had to carefully grind the inter race off, no problem. I decided to replace the bearing on the brush end, which is decent shape just a slight wobble. My question is what would be the best way to remove this bearing without damage to the armature? I got my parts ordered from eplacementparts and just waiting for them to get here to get the saw going ....................Thank you

    Default bearing puller

    Hey sawdust king,
The tool repair industry uses a special bearing puller..an otc 1020 or 1021[available at eReplacementparts.com : Power Tool Parts and Tool Repair ] and some auto parts stores have different styles of pullers that will work on some tools but not on others.. if no pullers are available to you..you may be able to gently clamp the armature in a bench vice with the commutator end as close to the vice as possible and pry out the bearing with 2 screwdrivers tips..however, this procedure [among others] are somewhat difficult[if the bearing is on super tight] and may end up causing damage if not performed carefully..
The best thing to do is get ya a puller of some sort..
    hope this helps..?
