Default Old black & decker 7441 sander

I borrowed a Black and Decker Power Finish Sander Model 7441. The switch went out, of course. I put in a toggle switch to get me by, but I would like to find a proper replacement before returning the sander to it's owner. I have found on this web site a part number 144960-00 that looks like the switch, but 7441 is not listed. Other people that shopped for the same stuff I have, ordered this switch. I was wondering if it fits or if they just bought it hoping it would. Anyone know anything about this?

I just looked at that part number and it describes it "Cover, Switch" is this just the rubber coating that covers the switch or the actual switch itself?
