Bosch 11316evs motor

Hello,

I have a Bosch 11316 evs jackhammer with a burned out motor. The armature has wires that are blackened and is apparently in need of replacement. How might I determine if the field needs to be replaced?

You can put a ohms meter on each coil. They should be close to the same ohms.
