    Default Dewalt Dw708

Hey, I have a Dewalt Dw708 and I think the bearings might be bad but I don't know. The brushes look decent, but it sparks a little when I run it. I don't know much about these saws except that they are costly to replace.....HELP!!

Hey there Theartman. Sorry it took us a while to get back to you.

There are a few things that could be going wrong. You could have a bad armature (we sell a lot of those DW708 armatures) or you might have a bad bearing. Replacing the armature for that saw is pretty easy. Here's a link to the armature for the DW708 types 1 and 3:

    eReplacementparts.com : ARMATURE AND FAN [383336-00] - $68.39

And here's the armature for the DW708 type 4:

    eReplacementparts.com : ARMATURE AND FAN [396004-00] - $71.04

    Good luck!
