Bosch electric drill Model 0601 194 639

This drill motor has been used very little,and worked fine the last time I used it. When I plugged it recently it was dead. Current will pass through the switch, but no motor rotation. Can anyone tell me what the likely problem is?

Hey Jim,
Most likely you have a brush that is 'held' up in the brush holder by dirt or dust demons..or is worn down enough that it is no longer making contact with the commutator of the armature..also there may be a problem with the wire contactors that are 'pushed' in the slot to make contact with the field..check for broken or loose..also your field may have an open circuit and may need replaced.. [check your brush contact first]
