DeWALT D55141 2 Gallon Portable Compressor

My compressor is not holding the air pressure over 50psi and the the air is leaking out of the pump assembly black box.

When I took that apart I found that the air is leaking out of (see the red circle in the pic)



Is this an easy repair? should I do it myself or take it to the DeWalt shop or just get a new compressor?

Most likely there is a small hole in the head casting. Replacing the head should solve the problem. You should need parts D29146, head and Z-D24819, head gasket. You should be able to easily do this repair. Form the pic it looks like you have already done all of the hard work!
