Old Rockwell/Delta saw part needed
My really old R/D saw, a series 34-335, needs a Tilt Clamp (Part No. 442-16-027-002, Ref. No. 153 in my owner's manual). This part seems to be specifically unavailable at any of the Delta parts suppliers I've looked at so far.
This item is also referred to as number 1087581 in some on-line listings. I notice that other people have asked for help finding this part.
Anybody know where this part might be obtained?
Can the part be repaired? It's plastic, and it looks like it just broke. Maybe it could be epoxied back together?
Has anybody figured out a handy work-around for holding the blade tilt angle fixed without using the part at all?
Is it maybe time to dump the saw?

Tilt clamp available
I was able to get the part I needed, so I don't have to junk the saw!
I'll put more info in the general discussion forum.

Hi Cryt...glad to hear you found the part...I think i have the same saw but mine is a 12" Rockwell... the part I need is a "bearing closure nut" Part No. 902070207176...in the day it was very inexpensive but if someone has it and would like to bear the mailing costs to me i would pay a lot more...it doesnt weigh much and the mailing costs to Calif. I'm sure wouldnt be much ... any help from anyone would be appreciated...thanks rickety
