can't remove table saw bearing
I have a Delta TS200LS table saw (type 1) . I'm trying to replace the rear motor bearing that burnt out but I can't even get it to move at all. Tried prying it out with a large screwdriver, even put two strong flat metals under the bearing and tapping it out with a hammer (both soft and hard hammers) but it won't even budge. I don't think it should be THAT tight but "SHOULD" don't mean anything. Any ideas I get would be a big help and thankfully recieved.

bearing
Hey larry,
ideally a otc # 1020 puller should be used...here is something else you can try..secure the armature in a bench vise with the bearing end as close to the end of vise as possible..then take the 2 flat blade screwdrivers and place the tips behind the bearing and pry against the vise...[BE CAREFUL]...If you don't have a bench vice you may have to purchase a puller..
hope this has been helpful..and good luck..!
