Default Variable Speed went out.

I've had my 18V Ridgid R841150 1/2 Cordless Hammer Drill for a few months and my variable speed burnt up. I was wondering where it's located. Is it the trigger? or part of the motor assembly?

How would I go about fixing it? If it's the motor assembly, where would it be located?
Please let me know, asap.

Hi Billy,

The variable speed is controlled by the switch. Replacing it should solve the problem. The switch is part #270001400.

I hope this helps!
