    Hi Keith,

The Clutch Drum is held in place by a screw located in the hole on the connector. I have seen phillips, hex or torx screws used. The drum I looked at had a Torx T-25 screw. You will turn the screw counter-clockwise to remove it. You will likely find that as you try to remove the screw the engine will want to rotate with the screw. You can stop the rotation by removing the spark plug and dropping a small length of rope, like an old shoe lace, into the hole. The rope will bind up the piston which will stop the rotation. Just be sure and leave enough of the string hanging out of the engine so you can remove it later.

    Good luck with your repair!
