How do I pull off the Drum Connector -- is there a screw in there and if so what type (*Hex, flat, Torx) and size?

Yes, there is a screw in the shaft of the drum. It is a Torx, and it is very tight until you snap it loose, so be patient, and strong! When you try to take the clutch loose, it is even tighter. I used the rope in the spark plug piston area trick. If you try to jamb something in the fin area, you will just break something, so be careful.
