How to square the blade with the table
Thanks Jerald

Hi Jerald,
Squaring up your contractor saw is really pretty easy to do. I will explain how to do it.
First, for safety, unplug the tablesaw. I like to use a 12" adjustable combination square to align a tablesaw. On the cast iron table, just in front of the blade opening, you will see two small holes with set screws in them. These set screws are what set the 90 and 45 degree stops. With an hex wrench turn both screws about 3 or 4 turns counterclockwise so they will no longer touch the stops underneath them on the trunnion. Now take the combination square and use it to adjust the blade to exactly 90 degrees. Once the blade is at 90 degrees lock it in place with the lock knob. Check the blade for square again as sometimes the lock knob will move it somewhat. Make any needed adjustment until the blade is square with the knob locked. Now go back to the screws on the tabletop and turn the 90 degree set screw clockwise until it contacts the trunnion and won't turn anymore. If I remember correctly the 90 degree screw is the one on the right.
Now take your combination square and remove the head from the rule. You can now use it to setup your 45 degree stop. Tilt the blade and using the head from the combination square adjust to 45 degrees using the same techniques as before. Once at 45 degrees lock in the set screw just as before.
That is it! Your tablesaw should now give you perfectly accurate 90 degree and 45 degree bevel cuts!
I hope this helps you with your tablesaw!
