When pulling the rope on my mower the blade keep turning but the engine will not start on my Murray 20'' push mower.

Hi Slim,

You are going to need to look at several things. First, perform a basic tune up on the engine. Replace the spark plug, air filter and fuel filter. Make sure the engine has enough oil and that it is clean. If not perform an oil change. Make sure the engine doesn't have old, bad gas in it. If so flush the fuel system. Check the engine for spark. If spark is not present then you will need a new ignition coil. If everything looks good to this point then the problem will be in the carburetor. The carburetor will need to be rebuilt.
