    Hi Stark,

The fuel system on your hedge clipper is pretty straight forward. You have a fuel feed line and an overflow return line. The feed line will have the in tank fuel filter attached. It will route to the intake port on the carburetor. The overflow line will attach to the other port on the carb and route back into the fuel tank. It allows excess fuel to be returned to the tank when priming. To determine which port on the carburetor is the intake attach a small piece of fuel line to one of the ports on the carb. Place a small amount of fuel in a container. Place the other end of the fuel line into the fuel and begin to prime the carb. If the fuel is drawn into the carb the fuel line is attached to the carb intake. If bubbles are blown out of the fuel line then it is attached to the overflow side of the carb.

    I hope this helps!

This happened to me too and mine is a year old. Do you know if there is a recall or anything on this? Thanks Mark for the info on how to repair it as the schematics only show the parts and not how to connect it. Any tricks on getting the small fuel line through the fuel opening in the tank without widening the opening?
