I have a DC989 hammer drill and dropped the transmission while changing the brushes do you have a diagram of the transmission? I think I have it right but would like to check.

Hi Bob,

DeWalt only offers the transmission for sale as an assembly. Due to this there is no diagram of the transmission available. After you reassemble the transmission, if it will turn freely by hand then you likely have everything assembled properly and it will be fine.
