    Default SAW WON

I HAVE A SKIL CIRCULAR SAW MODEL #552 THAT LOOKS VERY SIMILAR TO YOUR #5525. ALL THE INSIDE PARTS, BRUSHES ETC. LOOK FINE BUT THE CORD IS IN BAD SHAPE. IT APPEARS THAT THE CORD, SWITCH, AND TRIGGER ARE A UNIT. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS? THANKS, LELAND.

    Hi Leland,

The cord should be removable on your saw. with the age of your saw I am going to guess that the cord is likely soldered to the switch. If this is the case you will simply need to unsolder the old cord and then solder the new one in place. The cord for the 5525 should work fine as a replacement for your saw.

The cord is part #2610910170 and is available from http://www.ereplacementparts.com

I hope this helps with your repair!
