    Default DW421 pad & retainer

    Are the 3 screws holding the pad to the retainer screwed tight or loose? I can't tell as my threads were stripped when I disassembled mine.

    Hi Mac,

    The screws should be tightened down firmly so that the pad is held firmly and does not move.
