    Default turn base

The base on my LS1013 doesn't rotate as freely as it should.

    Hi Mike,

I would suspect that the Slide Plate has worn out. The Slide Plate is part #344477-2 and is available from http://www.ereplacementparts.com.

I hope this helps with your repair!

Mark, It sounds like good advice and I plan to take it. But I can't seem to separate the base plate from the rest of the assembly... Is there a trick? Just the one bolt right?

P.S. I got mine used and it has some gunk and corrosion built up.

    Update:

I got it... It took a hammer and some grunting but I managed to separate the base, lube and clean it all up, and now it works like new!
