The pin that holds the blade tight against the tool won't release the blade.
I recently purchased the FMM250Q and had a similar experience... I would have to pry the pin out with a screwdriver to remove the blade. I talked to a Rockler rep and he suggested to lubricate the pin. I did so and I can remove the pin and blade by hand.
