Default Dewalt battery parts???

Hey everyone Im the newbie...

I dropped a dewalt DC9096 battery for my dcd950 drill. the housing broke.
I tried to type in that number in the ereplacementparts.com search and it didnt come up with anything.

do they sell parts for just the battery??

basically I would like to know if there is a way I can get JUST the plastic housing for a battery... so I dont have to spend 70 CLAMS on a whole new battery.... really all I need is the BLACK bottom 'bowl' part of the battery case.

All help is appreaciated.

Thanks in advance.

DOYLE

Lookup battery pack rebuilders in washington state. they usuallly have good used parts.

DeWalt does not sell battery parts that I know of.

place an add on your local craigslist for "dead" dewalt batteries. I'm sure someone has a battery that doesn't hold a charge anymore and will give or sell it to you for 5 bucks.
