how to replace the brushes on model # dc988

Please, can someone tell me how to replace the brushes?

Remove the tail cap with the 4 screws. unplug the wires from the brushes. pull the brush assembly straight out to the side replace with new ones. plug the wires back in on the same side they were on and put the tail cap back on.
