I purchased a used DC988 a few months ago and it works great. I just noticed the other day that the spindle that attaches the chuck moves in and out about 1/4 inch or so. I know this is a hammer drill, but is that to much play in the spindle? If so what can be done to fix the problem. Overall the drill still performs.
